Description:
The Tr-1101 is a unique transducer designed by Massa to be used by the commerical oceanographic community in side scan sonar systems. The transducer consists of an array of efficient modular elements that are designed to operate at full ocean depth. The standard transducer is specified below. Because of the unique modular element design, however, the array can be customized to create a transducer with any desired combination of horizontal and vertical radiation patterns and side lobe supression.
